Ranking issue, I guess?

I was playing as an HG, when I touched the receptionist door for fun. It asked me if I wanted to change team. Thinking nothing would happend as I was an HG, I pressed "yes". However, the game turned me into receptionist team and reranked me as ST (Got 4.4K points, I'm a former HR), while I had the HG rank. I'm not sure HG are supposed to be able to do this... Left and rejoined the group to go back to HG.
